Ingredients for Filipino Bihon Guisado:
- 1/2 kg bihon (rice noodles).
- 1/2 kg chicken breast.
- 1 piece onion, chopped.
- 2 garlic cloves.
- 5 tsp soy sauce.
- 1 tsp salt (taste).
- 2 tsp black pepper.
- 2 ml vegetable oil.
- 2 cup water.
- 1/2 kg cabbage.
- 2 piece fresh chili, paprika, lemon.
- 2 large carrots.
Step by step how to cook Filipino Bihon Guisado:
- Put noodles into a bowl with water and set aside until firm.
- Preheat a pan then add oil, onion, garlic.
- Add chicken breast and simmer until tender or golden brown.
- Add carrots.
- Add soya sauce, water, salt, black pepper and add noodles, mix and simmer for 5 minutes ( mix once in a while).
- Add cabbage and chili or onion leaves as a decoration.
