  1. Pizza dough.
  2. 2 tsp dry active yeast.
  3. 1 tsp sugar.
  4. 11/4 cup warm water.
  5. 3-4 TBSP veg oil.
  6. 1 tsp garlic powder.
  7. 21/2-3 -cups AP Flour.
  8. 1 tsp salt.
  9. Meatballs.
  10. 1 lb ground beef or whatever ground meat you prefer.
  11. 2 tsp salt.
  12. 2 tsp ground pepper.
  13. 1 tsp cayenne pepper.
  14. 2 tsp dry herbs of your choice.
  15. 2 tsp minced garlic or powder.
  16. 1/2 cup white onion smalled diced or powder.
  17. 1 egg for mix and another for egg wash (2 total).

  19. 2 cups tomato sauce and extra for dipping.
  20. 2 cups Mozzeralla cheese.

Step by step how to cook Garlic Knot Meatballs with Homemade Pizza Dough *Easy:

  1. For dough : Mix flour,salt,garlic powder,sugar. Whisk.
  2. Add water and oil to mixer or bowl then add yeast.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix until dough forms.
  4. Drizzle oil into LARGE dry bowl. This will expand.
  5. Roll out dough on clean surface into ball. Place in bowl and cover with plastic touching dough.
  6. Place in fridge to rise and all that good stuff. 2 -4 hrs.
  7. Now for Meatballs.
  8. In a bowl combine ground meat and all spices. Add egg then bread crumb Mix well. Dont over mix.
  9. Roll out mix into 1 ounce balls.(This photo may be 2oz).
  10. In a large saute pan, sear meatballs until nice and browned all over. Set aside to cool slightly.
  11. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  12. Grab dough out of fridge. Dough should be 3x in size.
  13. Cut dough in half, take apart small pieces large enough to cover meatballs. Roll into small balls.
  14. Roll out each ball wide enough to place meatball inside.
  15. Spoon small amount of tomato sauce in the center of rolled out dough balls.
  16. Now add some cheese.
  17. Place meatball on top of cheese and sauce and wrap dough around meatball..
  18. Make sure dough is sealed well around stuffing then place on a parchment lined sheet pan SEALED side down.
  19. Brush light coat of egg wash on top of dough balls.
  20. Place in oven 20-25 mins until golden brown and beautiful. These went back in another 10 mins for more color..
